New to weddings, but not new to video! Help us build our '09 demo, and save BIG money!
We're a new startup company in the Pittsburgh area, Contemporary Event Concepts. I've taken on a partner, and have decided to bring some X-games, some car style, and some action feel to wedding video's. I also tap into the softer side, and the result is a very cinematic, very motion filled wedding presentation. Let me explain!
I've identified the local Pittsburgh videography market to be well, somewhat bland. I've viewed alot of demo's, alot of friends wedding video's, and frankly it's all very "documentary" styled. If you have a beautiful, well planned wedding day, why cover it like Channel 11 news? I see these very straight and to the point camera angles, some zoom, some pictures of the church...all the same basic recipe.
I, on the other hand, am very used to motion, to action capture, and to keeping young viewers interested! What this has led me to develop is a more exciting style. My video work is very cinematic, very creative from a modern perspective, and I also like to use more current music and feel. The same old church music video is nice, and while I may touch on some tradition, I will also add in touches more accepted by current standards.
Additionally, as a full time fabricator, drag car builder, I am developing a steadicam device for use in '09. Currently, noone in Pittsburgh uses this device, as it's a unit used in large scale movie productions such as the Fugitive, and The Shining. It allows for the camera to essentially appear as if it's flying around the room, versus being carried.

This will be fully edited, color graded, and blended beautifully. Even if you want to add something not so ordinary, I'm fully into it! Love Story's, pre-shot reception presentations, and alot of other ideas I have (but don't want to expose here for other videographers to see) are all options, and fully included!
